The carpenter's son

The carpenter's son

Pinocchio crucified on a cross made from scrap in an anonymous place post-atomic; Top of the cross, just above the head of the puppet, installing an old television on which we read the words IKEA, while at the bottom, beneath his feet, face off the bull and bear sculptures ( work in bronze Reinhard Dachlauer 1985 ), symbols of the trend of financial bag.
The setting is surreal, which, inter alia, refers to the composition at the base of the crucifix: a bunch of umbrellas that surround a sewing machine; dedicated as a tribute to the poem of Lautreamont , "The songs of Maldoror", especially the verse: "[ ... ] The chance encounter of an umbrella and a sewing machine".
