Slowly and unconsciously, every day we inscribe on our skin and on the objects that we use our history.
The contact imprints on them narratives in the form of signs, furrows and tracks.
Through the footprints left outside, the man has a chance to survive beyond the time of his mortal remains, witnessing his own existence, saving it from the nothingness into which it is destined to fall.
My work is a reflection on the skin as a unique and individual surface, as a map of our own existence, and on the footprint as a track that allows the eye to meet a presence in an absence, an experience, an instant.
