Study of the Human Landscape

Study of the Human Landscape

Amidst popular thought has long been the acceptance for synthetic mediums as the artist’s sole tool for mastery. Against convention and in response to the over-saturated market of generic beauty, the alternative arises in the recognition of the human form in its most natural element, and as the medium of expression. To study the organic elements of what literally makes us, us; from the atomic to anatomic configurations of the Self, without the suggestive and heavily scented filters of media’s pull for the commercialized and sexualized. To empirically observe the natural curvatures, alignments, and textures that have risen from the extremely complex recursively of simple structure, is to study the greatest mystery of our existence. I am keen to explore the newfound relationship of combined mediums in new references; a statement for the curious Conceptual.
