Second Skin
The image was taken from the Memorials for the Tiananmen Square protest in Hong Kong in June 2015. There was a man standing firmly in the crowd wearing a white T-shirt. On the man’s back it’s a quotation from a writer, ‘Someone asked me questions about axiom and justice.’
After handed back to Mainland China, Hong Kong has been going chaos. In 2014 Hong Kong presented a peaceful protest ‘Umbrella Revolution’ but most Hong Kong people said that’s totally in vain. People are discussing the direction of violent to government and some are even suggesting violent to innocent, saying it’s unavoidable in revolution.
All roads lead to Rome, however, when we are requesting a better society, we can’t avoid discussing axiom and justice. That’s clearly showed on his second skin.
