Body Landscapes
A sea of wrinkles, rivers of veins and a constellation of moles are small details that make us unique.
Body landscapes is a documentation of the diversities and multiplicities that our body has to offer, varieties defined by age, cultures or life itself.
These small landscapes of skin are usually considered insecurities, but in reality they emphasize the beauty of the individual.
All the photos are taken of people I meet on the street. This project highlights how our bodies are unexplored maps that can lead the viewer to look deeper.
The people closest to you, like your neighbor, may have tiny but wonderful little characteristics for you to explore. It is up to us to grab the opportunity.
