Paz's story

Time goes by so slowly in the Isla del Sol, surrounded by the Lake Titicaca. These lands still carry the witness of the Inca’s Empire. These are the hands of Paz, an old woman who has lived here for her entire life. They carry the signs of a life full of sacrifices, of hard work in the fields, and of simplicity. She has given her life to the island and was selected to be the guardian of the Roca Sagrada, an ancient ruin in her home’s courtyard. With these words Paz tells us about her life while she is peeling freshly picked potatoes, on the doorstep.
