Proserpina - A tulip in a condom

The project Proserpina depict a series of contemporary still lifes with a combination of elements that create a tension between the flowers, that in this case represent the purity and naturalness, and iconographic objects that symbolize the artificiality and vulnerability of the humankind.

The name is inspired by the goddess Proserpina and her double function as chthonic and vegetation goddess.
