Taboo as a trip inside the sacred relationship with food, that before being eaten is body and death and divides world's different cultures. Religion plays an important role in this. What is considered as a taboo by islamic culture, is not by christian or hindu cultures.
Inspiration is drawn from Hirst, Serrano, Witkin, Abramovic (Balkan Baroque), Gunter von Hagens (Körperwelten).
This project displays in a theatrical way everything we would prefer not to consider as a part of our existence: the death and the violence undergoing food chain.
Murder is perpetrated everyday, everywhere, between the sacred and the profane in a mix of life and death, beauty and horror, attraction and repulsion, taste and distaste, but with no conviction for anyone.
This takes to surface, from our subconscious, our inner fears that, sometimes, everyone should face.

Purtroppo, così come siamo messi, i conti "migliori" appaiono quelli del macellaio, che sembrano ancor più belli, visto che sta in maglietta anche ora in pieno inverno. Per me son truccati, ma nessuno là fuori aiuta molto a smascherare questa ancestrale possibile bufala... e ormai non rimane che sperare fino all'ultimo negli artisti....
