Laguna

Laguna

Painting, Fantasy / Visionary, Oil, 90x60x2cm
Venice's Laguna is invaded by a mud makes of unreal colors, product of pollution and climate changes wich have upseted flora and fauna. In this apochalittic scenery, people swim with fun and indifference to the historical memory’s decadence.
With this catastrophic look, I have wish describe one of possible world. An ecological report through the description of a society capable of adapting to anything, surviving to any catastrophe. This is what upset and comfort me at same time.
This work is entitled “Laguna” (oil and paint on board) and is part of a production that names “swimming colors”, with reference to climate catastrophe and italian monuments.

Davvero originale. Mi sembra (sbaglio?) una bella metafora del modo spensierato e irresponsabile con cui la nostra società edonistica e industriale consuma l'ambiente e distrugge il bello che abbiamo creato nei secoli passati.
Davvero brava, Elena. In bocca al lupo
