Marco sees this great event which is the life of every day like a big circus. Moreover, he thought the circus as an allegory of humanity has deep roots. The mask, the clown, the fiction, the play featured the iconography of many masters of the past, from Ensor to Roualt. In this important tradition Pariani seems to want to put his personal look at the media circus, television - but also on that of humanity ranges we encounter every day on the tram, on the train, on the street - in which he lives, in Italy in the years two thousand. His is a dream world, surreal, bitter, tinged with melancholy, he told in a style that makes the brush strokes angry, aggressive colors, a sense of composition that seeks instability, vertigo, their strengths. Pariani looks at the world and its details - a pair of shoes, a piece of furniture, a dress, a face - and portrays them, unarmed and at the same time fascinated by so much mediocrity, by so many false certainties. They are objects that we know very well, that are part of our everyday life, but which, when viewed from the right perspective, can still surprise. The palette of contrasts, unmistakable style, in biblical language of pop art, expressionism and street art make finding Marco Pariani personal and interesting, full of food for thought for those who wish to stop for a moment to consider the fate of the contemporary society, from its personal dimension, because in this survey with lucid irony not save anybody.
