INQUIETUDINE

BODY AND SOUL"

RESTLESSNESS – (INQUIETUDINE) – is the story of an emotion, the tale of the journey of a soul which encounters love.

At first the radiance of this feeling warms it and accompanies THE LOVERS‘ FLIGHT - (IL VOLO DEGLI AMANTI) - towards infinity. Suddenly, the chill sets in, and with its sting tries to crush it.

The warmth is unable to melt that ice, just as the ice is unable to put out that fire which continues to burn without being able to bring warmth anymore: it lingers, still alive, within the depths of the soul … AND THE ICE … ALL AROUND - (E IL GELO … INTORNO).

Then, as if by magic, BY LOVING - (AMANDO) - … up through the ice, a flower blossoms … and its warmth … and its strength … reward us with new life.

RESTLESSNESS – (L’INQUIETUDINE) – however, rears its head once more, when a hug proves incapable of banishing the chill, which has never really melted.

Enough of pain … the soul becomes EVASIVE – (INAFFERRABILE) – hiding behind its shield of bitter disappointments and tears where, however, joy cannot reach it.

And then when greyness buries all emotions, only an EVASION – (EVASIONE) – can allow it to meet them again in a merry-go-round of colors.
