"Plastic for Sale'' consists of paintings of a figure, wandering in non-place of supermarket and being encountered by the same message text which acts as a way of capturing attention and seeking to attract an audience, thus being drawn into a system.
Alone, but one of many, user of non-place, which being real measure of our time has no identity, relations and history, is in contractual relations with it, a form of reminder being empty trolley he trundles round the supermarket. These images carrying a sense of dystopia masked by artificial supermarket environment are both intimate miniatures and mass-produced portraits of single figure on non-narrative shopping trip.
