Project 10 Days

Day 8:
Kamakura, temple Kōtoku-in

The boy in red with backpack slung me close to 17 meters high statue lost in the green of Kamakura. Not bad eh.
This is certainly the area most mystical visited in all 10 days of travel. Kamakura is a small town 70 km from Tokyo, accessible by train, car or on foot. That day we took a heavy rain, in fact we arrived at the temple completely wet from head to toe, but nevertheless went on for another 20 km and visit the whole town.

These photos are just a small part of "10 Days" being actually about 1600 pictures to be selected for the exhibition and 30 films that enclose the entire trip.
The "10 Days" is the photographic exhibition that includes 10 days when my brother and I we started the adventure in Tokyo and Kamakura, without knowing the language, not knowing the writing. 1600 pictures and 20 movies to discover Tokyo and Kamakura, temples, skyscrapers, neighborhoods and museums, grinding Km of Km (about 360 Km walk and 5 times as much between metro, monorail and train).

If some or gallery curator is interested in the project and in setting the exhibition please contact me via private message here or mail Gabriele.venuti@alice.it
