Love is the scariest thing of all
A phobia is a persistent or recurring fear of a specific object or situation. Phobias are sometimes contrasted with anxiety, a fear that has no specific object but that manifests itself in many forms ranging from chronic worry to attacks of panic. There is a sense of displacement, a disarticulated feeling, an ambiguity of existence. There is a connection between Love and Death and the possibility of an after-life. We constantly fail. We are perpetrators and victims of ourselves.
Perhaps there is no more Love since it ceased to have distance, secrecy, mystery or fate. Perhaps Love no longer has lyrical abilities and exists without compromise or commitment. Perhaps Love no longer is ecstatic and no longer disappoints and no longer allows the fantasy. If Love not even lives in fear it is not Love anymore.
