Out of thin air - sculpture no. 14

This work is a playful collaboration between artists Shira Klasmer and Gabriel Klasmer try to create sculptures that can only be preserved in their 3D state as photographs and especially as 3D-photography. This sculptural event only momentarily exists in time and preserved through the use of photography.

Raw material found in the studio are shaped using the forces of air and gravity to be frozen in time and space by a flash of light. The event was captured by stereo cameras to then be recreated as 3D lightboxes and as 3D video installation.
