Dimensional Twist

Our reality may not be what it seems. Could it be that what we think is real is a virtual world within another virtual world, contained within another virtual world, and on and on? 'Dimensional Twist' is part of a series of images I created to depict ideas inspired by higher dimensions in space, and how we are at the mercy of the dimensions in which we exist. Scientists cannot be sure that there are not more than three dimensions - some theoretical physicists calculate that there may be as many as eleven dimensions in which we currently exist.

Multiple processes were used to create this image, including screenprinting onto clear plastic sheets, which were then photographed. This image was created without the use of digital retouching and contains minimal digital manipulation in order to correct colour and tonal qualities only.
