Washed on June 27

Washed on June 27 consist of a personal object, double size bed with bed sheet covered on it. It is displayed on a wall like a painting. The piece appears as a clean white canvas from far away, but reveals details when one looks at it up close. Unintentional stains of paint, blood, tears, sweat, and pieces of hair on the bed sheet suggest my experiences and sensations since June 27, the day I washed my bed sheet after moving back to the United States. Printed words on the mattress,"Sleep-suite,” on the bottom right corner, and “Deluxe, made in USA,” on the upper right hand corner confined under the stained bedsheets furthermore implicate that comfort and “deluxe” experience is not easily achieved and yet to be discovered for me.
