Sticking Together (Orange)

"Sticking Together (Orange)" is part of my ongoing working process investigating materiality and searching possibilities on how a painting is created. Destroying it and putting it back together again. Using glue as drawing process and using transparency to expose, cover whats happening on and inside of the painting. Using between layers to create most marks, slowing the process of drying time, sometimes with the help of gravity to finalize the process. This method brings possibilities in the life of a painting, showing it's fluidity and it's own challenges wile being created. It has elements of chance and spontaneous approach, embracing the immediacy of life surprises and believing in possibilities.
