Restoring
the relationship between an individual and a landscape:
The attention is focused - in a pragmatic, but also metaphorical
way- on the aesthetics resemblance that Sicily and Africa can have due the geographical short distances.
Restoring, means indeed, re-establishing, re-connecting a relation that those two pieces of land have had and that probably history and time can bring back in other forms.
The central figures are this young African man and the Sicilian landscape: a big orange ball of sun, dry ground and the blue Mediterranean Sea, are few of the elements
of a picture that melts easily together to a sort of ordinary frame, where we aren't forced
to ask questions concerning: integration or belonging.
