La fotografia racconta dell'amore di un padre verso la figlia e di come quest'ultima provi nei suoi confronti un sentimento che racchiude molte delle sfumature che da adulta la donna vivrà con un uomo, quali in particolar modo la seduzione o il desiderio di ricevere protezione ed attenzione. La fotografia riflette la complicità che si instaura tra un padre e una figlia sotto forma di gioco, molto spesso fisico. Il punto di partenza di questo lavoro è una fotografia che io stessa ho scattato durante una vacanza e che è lontana dall'essere una fotografia professionale. Ho catturato quel momento ed attraverso la pittura digitale ho sperimentato nuovi colori ed una diversa architettura, dando enfasi al romanticismo, alla gioia ed alla parte favolistica di quel speciale gesto.
My work describes an intimate moment between a father and his daughter, while he is holding her in his arms. The picture speaks of love a father feels towards his daughter and how the feeling which the child gives to her father has those hints that tomorrow the woman she'll be will live with men, especially the seduction or the desire to receive protection or attention. The work shows the complicity among them, which is physical and joyful . The starting point of this work is a photo I personally shot during a summer time and it was far away of being a professional picture. I caught the moment and through the digital paint I experimented new colours and a different architecture, emphasizing the romantic, the joyful and the fable part of that special gesture.
