Black Betty
Since a few years, when I can, I also deal with amateur luthier in stringed instruments; until now I have made a classic guitar, two electric and a semi-acoustic (this). It's called "Black Betty" (70 years old song .. my baptism rock .. :)).
The guitar is inspired by a famous Gibson model but with some variations in shape but especially electronic me wired, built and implemented.
The steel plate that serves as a pickguard is actually the antenna of a "proximity wah" that is a "wah" effect that enables approaching or removing the hand to the plate.
The plate on the opposite side is an equalizer resulting from a "Dod FX40" with some changes made by me as the trigger to touch or foot.
