Health, youth, sexuality, pride of your own strength, desire to dominate expressed without false modesty, the thirst for money, nowadays are considered values to believe in.
There is no limits, there is no longer the thin gap between "good and evil", all is mixed, blended, becomes chaos, where everything comes from anything, and came back to nothing, again.
The essence of the crisis that has affected the modern civilization, named by Nietzesche as "nihilism" described as a kind of sickness for the modern world, would lead to disintegration of the moral entity, the distruction of any will and the loss of the ultimate meaning of life. The Dionysian man, the Superman or the fool, directly participates in the life and meditations without passing over the boundaries between himself and the world, feeling in this way as part of the nature and nothing more. Modern man no longer believes, on the other hand does not know what to believe in and not
longer able to use the myths and rituals of the past.
So at the end he creates new beliefs to replace the old, often addressing religious meanings to political ideologies.
This is a real crisis of values and beliefs caused by the acceptance of life as an intrinsic
chaos and lack of sense!
This project consists in the representation of six pictures, the result of pusuit of the "myths" nihilists on which modern society is based: mythomania, pride, envy, deceit, lasciviousness, consumerism.
