Verso il Prossimo Mondo

Toward the next world is a surrealist painting that features a nocturnal landscape in which the life forms could be considered either land or water forms. The distinction between water, land and air is blurred. As I was painting this work, my mind went toward the possibility of the parallel existence of other worlds. I thought of realms which are similar and yet different from this third dimension reality that we are traversing. As such, the painting evolved to include the possibility that even the most fundamental elements of our existence may be interchangeable or mutable. This is certainly true in dream states.
