PAESAGGIO MISTICO 3

This painting takes inspiration from a place rich in history and mysticism such as that of the Rock engravings in Nadro, Valle camonica - one of the UNESCO Heritage sites. The materials I used have a symbolical meaning to me. They remind of the primeval elements and of the time out of time when the passage from chaos to being takes place. Matter continues to keep in itself the signs of the energy and of the movement that presided to creation yesterday and that presides to creation nowadays. Light and darkness, preciousness and coarsness, spirit and matter are one mingled in an indivisible unity
