video made with b&w photos of an old café and a shopwindow, taken in dordrecht, the netherlands. the images show the front of the café from changing positions. the windows reflect the front of opposite buildings. through the windows something of the sparse interior of the café can also be seen. the images of the shopwindow show a dummy from several angles. here the window too mirrors the opposite buildings. to the photos images of paintings by italian artist giulia gellini are added. the music is a conducted improvisation from participants of 'the acoustic hour', a monthly gathering of musicians at the rietveld theater in delft, the netherlands.
