This work is formed by two terracotta bas-reliefs on a painted wooden table. The main features of this composition – the terracotta orange glow and the dreamy blue-gray background – create two opposite but balanced blocks of color. At the same time, in each part of this artwork there is a blending of stillness and motion. Such a coexistence of opposing elements creates a sense of distance, which represents the eternal fascination of ancient Myth.
