Genhomo represent the central role that the DNA has taken over the last fifty years. The DNA is now a symbol of the journey of knowledge.
The work is composed entirely of clay heads linked together by strong ties, like the DNA molecules, to form the double helix structure.
These human heads, represent the unique, real or supposed role of man as a single living creature on the earth's surface possess the knowledge, or rather the need for knowledge.
Man is the only living being able to "see" a representation of the genome. So much to be project the opportunity to describe the structure, location and function of approximately 30,000 genes that characterize the human species, the "map" of human DNA.
While other animals, we might say, act (suffer?) their DNA, humans can "think-it", view, edit, manipulate ... in itself but also for "other" beings. The man acts on the DNA.
And maybe "the human head", which today dominates the look on DNA?
