Amazzonica

Amazzonica is a sound installation which comes from a series of field recordings that the artist took in the Amazon Forest in the November 2008. The residency was held by Francisco Lopez.
The artist invite us to enter in a dark circular structur hang on the ceiling, 4 meter tall and 4 meter of circumference. It's a dream state in which the visitor is dip into a sound ambient at the same time real and abstract.
The work investigate the time and the space - a relation which dissolve itself in behalf of a sound flux where the night and day recordings are interweave and superimposed. Doing that they live together in the same place at the same time. The sound is slowly processed and moved away from the original one, leaving the audiance to experience a totally new soundscape.
