Hanging By A Thread

I shot the advertising campaign for SIBF, the Sydney international brass music festival, in early 2014. The photos inspired the American composer, Jim Stephenson. His orchestral work ‘Hanging By A Thread’ received its world premier at the festival in July 2014 in “homage to those images”. The orchestra was drawn from Sydney finest young musicians and featured soloists from the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
This is a presentation of those images and my record of that performance.
