The embroidery was realized on the catalogue of ITALICS (show curated by Francesco Bonami at Palazzo Grassi, Venice, 2008-2009) next to the page dedicated to the work of Maria Lai (Ulassai 1919 - Cardedu 2013), an artist who recently influenced my artistic research and with whom I share the same homeland. The embroidery is a kind of homage to her just few months after her death, emphasizing her unique style of embroidery on paper.
