Mirror for the absent | Specchio per gli assenti

In my work there is a prevailing obsession regarding the materiality of the
body and the twofold relationship between identity and memory.
My pictorial work, in the construction of images, situated accordance
with the theories of Henri Bergson on the process of retrieving
memories. Images that are not pure and never completely reliable,
that the perception divided into a series of enriched representations and consequent
actions based on experience, but also of revealing signs that hint
at the possibility of further evolvement.
In the search for a possible root, I focus, at least initially, on a build-
saturated images of human passage, belonging to the iconography that the
time, in its circularity, helped to codify.
I'm interested that the image ground remains an unfathomable, in which doubt is the only possible revelation. And the appearance of these traces on the
canvas is not the confirmation of having discovered something, but it is
the testimony of a deletion and the appearance of a number of hypotheses
