Can an image fall out from visual space provided by a photograph?
Slide out of the perimeter of the format and access the materiality of reality?
Something very similar happened with "SHARKBANANA". One which manifest as a captivating harmony of colors, object, ideas, and sense, born as natural and unexpected, is driven by a subtle critique of the thick crowd of "backlit" aesthetic images, distant from the logic that i seek when moving the first steps towards the product of a work. I felt that "SHARKBANANA" should not have been limited to a two-dimensional fruition, but the potential that a sculpture condition could express seemed enormous. I just wanted to understand which was a precise formative gesture to be actualized in order to provide a proper vitality to the object. Once expressed, the result was a new species: a kicking-animal, threateningly sensitive, the predatory gaze
