Mike the headless chicken

The work "Mike the headless chicken" was born from a documentary photo archive found on the web which decribes the long survival of a hen that was beheaded. Although there are some documents reporting the accident, it is still considered by many to be a hoax.
In my work is essential coming across this kind of documents in which coexist the elements of the narrative, news, and fiction.
I find interesting the dialogue that reveals itself between the reality of the photo and the dimension of the painting; from this meeting comes a revelation of new points of view in which mystery and daily life are indissoluble.
