Based around Psychogeography, exploring how the environment can affect the emotions and behaviours of an individual, '13' was one of the places I had visited whilst exploring abandoned/ derelict places. Although, it is an everyday car park, '13' was painted from the rooftop of an old car park. The name '13' comes from the car parks' top floor and the irony of the place being a prime location for many suicides which happen in Birmingham. '13' is also seen by some as an unlucky number.

The colour scheme was chosen to depict a dark, eerie atmosphere reflecting on the history of the rooftop.
