Ogni cosa è illuminata#2
Everyone takes the limits of his own vision field, for the limits of the world.
(Arthur Schopenhauer, and Parerga paralipomena 1851)
Everything Is Illuminated, is an installation that reflects on the visible and invisible boundaries that we cross every day.
Investigating the perception that we live situations, through the use of prisms supported by a projector, i create an environment where there is the illusion of a rainbow.
Each intervention is necessarily site-specific, and moves on the basis of the possibilities of the place. The boundaries of the rainbow appear vertically in the room but at the same time outlining the physical space.
Failing the reference points, this duality creates a feeling of loss and a new vision, highlighting the union between the reality and the archetypes.
Accompanying this disorientation, there is a strong sound of crickets's sing that expands to the whole room.
