The painting shows a view of the Egyptian head in the foreground; the colors are burnt sienna, for the shadows, yellow ocher and titanium white for the light parts on a gray background. There are some irregularities on the canvas that gives it a material appearance. The images and objects from the past are still relevant only if they are able to retain their archaic charm.
