Faces, Composition #3

It starts with a sketch of geometric shapes in a journal. The sketch, in ink & gouache, is then translated onto a large scale canvas in oil paint. The design, afterwords, is used to paint the face and body of a model which is then photographed. The photograph of the model is blown up, painted with a palette knife, light modeling paste and acrylic pigments on canvas. The end result is a three part series of word done in Oil on canvass, Photography, and Acrylic on canvass. This piece is the end result of the process.
