LeRusco's performance moves from the construction and composition of the scenery. The artistic space is divided in two parts that communicate and clash with each other, creating a chaotic environment in perennial contamination. In this space Pollutions's characters act: Nature and Man (embodied by Beatrice Corsetti and Valentina Angeli).
Beatrice symbolises Nature, represented by the mythological figure of BOES from Sardinia (the artist is wearing the traditional BOES wooden mask). Valentina embodies MERDULES, representing Man, and wears unconventional clothes (acrylic suit and antigas mask).
The message LeRusco want to convey does not align with the traditional battle BOES/MERDULES (Instinct against Human reason) but rather represents the clash between Nature and Human Evolution. Who will get the upper hand?
