The capacity to gather and analyze large amounts of information is changing the world. The myth that a virtual space in which you can be alone and attain privacy from social and political institutions is dead. In a world in which data is a commodity, there is no law that defends the freedom on the internet. A clearer vision of the apocalypse which awaits us is needed in order to understand the bizarre language of "sovereign information” and cope with the temptation of information consumerism.
