Così come l'entropia.
body and the twofold relationship between identity and memory. Memory
intended as a collective and individual chronicle, and time as the residual
evidence of a lost future, perhaps trapped in its own circular nature.
My pictorial work, done by Images that are not pure and never completely reliable, which perception
pronounces in an enriched series of representations and consequent
actions viscerally based on experience, but also of revealing signs that hint
at the possibility of further evolvement.
The painted surface is permeated by a dimension suspended between
reality and imagination, that is precarious and naturally nomadic. In the
search for a possible root, I focus, at least initially, on an accumulation of
saturated images of human transition, belonging to the iconography that
time, in its circularity, has helped to codify. It is at this point that the
obsession takes shape which the painting translates in the rhythm of the
epidermal layers in which I intervene amassing attempts, recoveries,
failures and new ideas.
My interest then opens up to an unfathomable dimension, in which doubt
is the only possible revelation. And the appearance of these traces on the
canvas is not the confirmation of having discovered something, but it is
the testimony of a deletion and the appearance of a number of hypotheses.
