Swings

I paint spaces from photographs that I take. I see these spaces as sets, frames and structures allowing for a potential narrative to unfold. I want them to be more generic than specific places, it’s not about the swings in particular but it’s about the idea of swings. From the moment I take a photograph to the final work it all is a reductive process, creating a bare minimum of information.
