Untitled Intimate (autoritratto)
The Enamorates, casts me in the role of actor, initially out of a necessity, while acknowledging an autobiographic impulse to do so. In this sense, the creative act extends this identity performance beyond the camera record, to the social camouflage originally intended for this project.
Mexican and Italian locations situate the directed these works, not for the theatrical sake of putting on a show, but rather to contextualize the desire of 'making a scene', in public. The photographs depict not the theatre of a relationship, but the documentation of a relationship once reenacted from tangible memory.
