My former workmates

The project is about the study of the work environment of a London based wholesale and retail food company. Open 24 hours per day and 7 days a week, the company handle to the camera a contemporary image of London, of people and goods that come and go, working hard at night as during the day, nourishing the food commerce and the restaurant sector. Men and women that populate the company are more than 90, a variety of young or not so young employees, arrived in the big metropolis from outside-London but mostly from the southern and eastern Europe, looking for good fortune. I worked as office assistant on a night-shift, and this would be an ironic and heartily documentation of their existence.
