Realized using chemical manipulation of the negative plate in b/w 10x12
cm at 50 asa.
Currently all my work aims to overturn the objectivity of the
photographic medium, breaking any linear perspective and subverting
chemical development’s main rules. Looking for a randomly sentimental story.
Trying to move over the rhythms of the theme images in long sequences.
Dip a small monkey into a black deep blank made probable through the use of scratches and scrapes directly on the negative.
Combine the extreme precision of an image taken with a large format camera on ultra fine-grained plate with a pantomime that overreaches limits.
Create a complex device to reproduce the images consist of technical skill and instinct.
At the same time being conscious and leave photographic tecniques behind. Trying to get lost in my own home.
Display the idea of a small, alone and unprotected living being.
