Sourrounded by all these holiday makers that were taking souvenir pictures with their digital cameras and mobile phones at the beach of Piran in Slovenia, I was lying there with my old Canon A1 (35mm). My eye was particularly stroke by a german family that was standing several meters away from me, observing some divers, or maybe a sailing boat floating in the sea. Focusing on the family, the divers on the side and the boat in the background, I waited for the right moment to finally take the picture.
For me, it is a grotesque impression full of humour. By crossing the filmstrip I emphasized it’s color.
