My People and I

The avid use of social networking websites which is common to today is in no doubt shaping individuals and the interactions between them. A profile gives an individual a platform to construct an image which awaits the perception of their various social circles. The nature of this scenario constantly reinforces the cultural definitions of what makes an individual 'good'. My people and I was created with the intention of illustrating that which is good but also expands further to an all encompassing characterization of how it feels to be human-the good and bad, ugly and beautiful, the panic and bliss, the separation and isolation yet unified wholesomeness.
