Prima della Tempesta

"Before the Storm" is a painting of a rustic italian valley with rolling rain clouds overhead. The scenic view offers a wide vista of the surrounding hills and vineyards. I painted this after a previous painting that I did (Between the Worlds) in which I used a mixed media approach. I wanted to revisit this subject using traditional oil paints.
