A Year In My New Office
I was very excited when I was promoted to be the head of the graphic studio in the Exhibition Wing of the museum. I have moved to a new office, and recieved a new Macintosh computer. That was the first time that I had a camera builtin inside my Apple screen. At that day, I took my first photo, using Photo Booth application. Automaticly, the photo got a name: the date and the exact hour that it was taken. Through all the first year in my new office I used to take photos of myself. The photos were able to include only objects or people that were in the radius of my computer screen. At first glance the photos look the same, but second glance reveal the projects I was working on (sketches on the wall), the seasons of the year (by the look of my clothes), my mood, things i love to eat, my daughter who came to work with me during the holiday, my boss (chief of designers) etc. The last photo was taken in December 2010, as I moved to a larger space inside the museum.
I gathered all 70 photos together like a contact, arranged them chronologically and added below each photo the name that was given to it by the application.
The result is “A year in my new office”.
