The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible

The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible

This work is a consideration about identity and the medium through it is represented.
The result is an altered portrait, which is well away from an alluring or conformed attitude, and where the supposed objectivity of the passport-photo style is replaced by ambiguity. The band-aids hide the person from the other's look but, at the same time, they reveal his deepest and vulnerable side.

(the title is from Oscar Wilde's novel "The picture of Dorian Gray", 1890)
