Sinécdoque

At the age of 3, Alicia starts taking polaroids of everything that happens in her life. When she turns 20, she decides to analyse where this obsession for photography comes from, and makes a review of her memory, her photographs.


In this audiovisual experiment, fruit of the collaboration with Impossible Project Barcelona, each memory is a polaroid with some associated dialogue or sound. Each photography is a piece of the girl’s memory that deserved to be portraited, because it was either traumatic or special.
